Great talk. TED has some really interesting stuff. Are we really that much less effective working in an open plan office? Mind you, I say that as someone who works with headphones on every day.
I like his remarks about bird song. I agree with some of the points in the clip but do also think you can train your brain to block out office noise. Suppose it depends on the size of the office?
